Typically there will be an error or message on the printer asking for someone to place the proper piece of paper in the tray. If those bars are off even a 1/16 of an inch a 81/2 X11 page is no longer considered a 81/2X11 page and when you print a normal page it will be requesting a page of paper 81/2 by 11 inches. Typically paper tray have little brackets on the LEFT and RIGHT sides that hold the paper. The issue MAY BE that the paper size of your print jobs does not match any size that is configured on the printer. I would like to get this resolved so that we reduce frustration on both ends. Is there an error log somewhere that may help? I tend to be the first person to be informed as to a jammed queue, but have to pass it up to our engineers to clear as I do not have access to clear the queues on domain servers. Printers are assigned via security groups and pushed out via GPO We have set adobe to be default for pdfs. Our environment is a 2012 domain, devices are running windows 10 ENT. We seem to be seeing them jam when a user prints a PDF, the most affected printers seem to be Sharp Copiers MXM564n. We are seeing over this year and seems to be getting worse, the printers are jamming up a lot. We have several sites, each has its own print server. Here is the issue we are having (I am the low man on the pole as well, trying my best to help).
